There are many stages of diabetes, so our education team offers a variety of programs tailored to fit your individual needs. Whether you are newly diagnosed or have been managing your illness for years, we have a program for you.

Skills Training Appropriate for:
Learning to use home glucose meters
Learning to use insulin injections
Learning to use pump therapy

Appropriate for:
Pre-diabetes
History of gestational diabetes
Family history of diabetes
Metabolic syndrome
Overweight and sedentary lifestyle

Gestational Diabetes
Appropriate for:
Currently pregnant with diagnosis of
diabetes type I or 2
Abnormal glucose tolerance test while pregnant
Previous gestational diabetes
Previous delivery of infant 9 lbs. or greater | General Diabetes Education
Appropriate for:
New diagnosis
A1c not at goal
Change in medication |
Intensive Insulin Education Appropriate for:
Multiple daily injections
Insulin pump therapy
Frequent blood glucose excursions
Frequent hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) | |
